La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Hobby Airport

I stayed here for 4 days, and I was here on business—the business of spreading Christmas joy and helping people find their smiles. I travel a lot around in November and December. And I love to bake cookies and cinnamon rolls to gift to anyone in my path. Here at the LaQuinta Inn Hobby Airport in Houston for anyone reading this that doesn't know. The front desk attendants were great. They were very welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed visiting with each one of them. I was greeted with a smile and checked in promptly. The hotel itself was spotless, and for the most part, we'll maintained. The 1st room I was in ended up getting flooded by the condensation of the AC drain being plugged. So I ended up having to move. The second room was dry and the AC worked like it should. But the bathroom exhaust fan was noisy and a new sense and the lighting of the exhaust system didn't work. The light in the entryway to my room was very dim, almost burnt out. I requested twice to get these items fixed. After the second time I asked for maintenance to replace the light bulbs in the entryway and the bathroom. They changed the entryway light. But didn't do anything about the bathroom ceiling light and exhaust fan. It was still broken and worn out when I checked out. As far as the location, this hotel offers good security and is secluded from the busy road that it sits on. That I liked. I have stayed in hotels in areas near airports that you couldn't go outside after dark. But this location is quite and you can feel safe walking around outside after dark.

Clean hotel. The hotel was a little dated a little worn nothing big. We were using a park and ride combo deal and we're leaving my car there they were very friendly took a few minutes to do the multiple logins for the checking in. We just stayed there one night and caught the airport shuttle in the morning shuttle drivers was very nice shuttle starts at 5:00 a.m. every 30 minutes it was kind of hidden behind Best Western and shared parking lot with them. Had a pool and a Whirlpool that I saw both seemed clean. Price seemed low for area

Stayed here for two nights. Pretty decent hotel honestly. I don’t have any complaints. Price was reasonable and well worth it honestly. Rooms could use some tlc, but honestly it’s nothing too bad. The tubs are peeling and need to be replaced, maybe some paint on the walls, but overall not bad. Breakfast was good and had a good variety. Spacious lobby and rooms. Parking can be right but overall good experience

I wish I would’ve gotten his name but the manager was extremely helpful and accommodating at check-in. Thank you again! On top of the great service, the property was quiet and very well kept.

The staff is very friendly, quiet, the exit signs are very noticeable. Breakfasts was good and delicious. Had hot water available for some hot tea. My room was big and spacious, everything was clean, restroom was clean, fresh towels, bed fixed good, bed was very comfortable sheets, lights/ac working functional. Keep up the great work. I will be back to stay a couple of nights. All of the staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was good, but the eggs and sausage were salty. The waffles are awesome. The room was fine-clean, had a microwave and mini fridge, which is all that I ask for and expect for a less expensive hotel like this. I would stay here again.

We do love this place for the location by the airport and leaving our car there when we are gone. I will have to say the last 2 times we've stayed, the rooms were not very clean. This last time we had no shampoo/conditioner, no tissues (empty dispenser) and the side tables had sticky stuff on them. Hopefully they will remedy this before we stay again in a few weeks.

The stay was good. The only thing they need is to add a toothbrush and toothpaste for the last-minute bookings with better shampoo and conditioners.
